What are the Renter's Responsibilities?

The Renter’s must:

  • Use the vehicle responsibly, avoiding illegal, commercial, or prohibited activities (e.g., racing, towing, overloading, or transporting items like durians, salted fish, or pets that cause odors). Smoking is strictly prohibited.
  • Refrain from modifying, defacing, or removing parts of the vehicle.
  • Keep the vehicle within Malaysia unless prior written approval is obtained. Travel to Thailand, Brunei, Indonesia, or islands (e.g., Langkawi, Tioman) via other transportation is not permitted.
  • Cover the costs of damages, lost keys, or stolen parts resulting from negligence or misuse.
  • Return the vehicle in its original condition, with the fuel level matching the starting amount.
  • Be responsible for parking fees, traffic fines, and the removal of personal belongings from the vehicle.
  • Use the correct fuel type and refill the tank as required. Shortages will be deducted from the deposit.

WAHDAH will:

  • Maintain the vehicle to manufacturer standards and ensure it is roadworthy.
  • Provide valid insurance coverage during the lease period.

Replace the vehicle in case of accidents or breakdowns, offering compensation if a downgrade occurs.
